The State Timber Museum in Manjimup opened in 1977 to honour the significant impact the timber industry has had on the lives of Western Australians. In 2018 the museum was restored and the interior displays replaced as part of the Manjimup town centre revitalisation project. Situated in the Manjimup Timber and Heritage Park, the museum provides visitors – old and new – with insight into the timber industry’s history and how it continues to play a part in the life of the State. I was engaged to research and write the panels, and source images and audiovisual content.
