Cue Post Office Interpretation

Cue is one of Western Australia’s oldest gold rush towns. Established in 1894, its place in WA’s history and the preservation of its historic buildings makes it a fine destination for tourists. The old post office underwent a renovation in 2017 and I was engaged to research and write six panels for inclusion inside the post office. This also included sourcing images and quotes for an interactive display in the mailbox area.

The Cue Public Buildings redevelopment was the winner of the WA Heritage Award’s Gerry Gauntlett Award for excellence in Conservation or Adaptive Reuse and Adaptive Reuse of a State Registered Place in 2018.
