Armadale Settlers Common Reserve Interpretation

City of Armadale (WA) contracted me to develop text for nine signs on features within the Armadale Settlers Common Reserve.

The volunteers who help manage the reserve had compiled facts and stories about possible topics for the signs, including the types of flora and fauna found in the reserve, ancient rocks, and the conservation efforts currently taking place.

Each sign aimed to be between 80 and 150 words, and written to engage visitors as much as possible. This was done through encouraging people to use their senses as they walked through the reserve. Artwork and fabrication was undertaken by Creative Spaces.
