When only the best peas will do.
Menus are always a fun source of spelling and grammatical errors. There’s often a misplaced apostrophe, a misspelled word, and it’s understandable. A restaurant has so many things to look out for that the accuracy of the menu is usually towards the bottom of the list.
This is probably one of the more amusing ones I’ve seen. A chic pea is something you’d expect at a three-star restaurant, rather than the local pub. Raita is also spelt wrong, but that’s not as funny.
If you’re a restaurant owner or manager, do yourself a favour and proofread your menu before it’s printed. Better yet, have us do it. Request a quote now.
C’est très chic.
